Long Term Care (LTC) Family Council
At The Leamington Mennonite Home, we value the voice of families as an important part of the Residents First commitment to compassionate, quality care.
The LTC Family Council is made up of family members of residents who meet every three months to discuss resident services, care, programs, and overall quality of life within the Long-Term Care Home.
The Family Council:
- Provides a supportive space for families to share experiences and encouragement
- Brings forward group questions or concerns in a constructive manner
- Helps families stay informed about Home operations and initiatives
- Offers feedback and recommendations to enhance resident care and daily life
Through open communication and collaboration, the Family Council plays an important role in strengthening our community and ensuring residents continue to receive dignified, person-centered care.
All family members of LTC residents are welcome and encouraged to participate.
