The Gardens Apartment building contains 41 units, and the building itself is connected to the Heritage Centre. Ownership of these units is offered via Lifelease Agreement. Pricing for these units is dependent on the current market value. This building has one- and two-bedroom units, with monthly fees that include Emergency Lifeline, Cogeco Cable, all utilities and taxes, and maintenance of the unit.
The occupant is responsible for costs relating to appliances and window coverings, as well as updates such as paint and flooring. The full purchase price is due on the closing date - no administration, legal, or real estate fees. At the end of the life lease, the selling price is established and we find a new owner. Ten percent of the selling price is withheld by our establishment upon the sale of the unit.
Our typical one-bedroom unit is approximately 700 square feet, while our typical two-bedroom units are approximately 960 square feet. A few larger units are available.
